The Paphos Coast In Winter
Towards The Mall
As you can see, the Walkway is a bit closer to completion now. It is designed to link the Archaeological Park with Fabrica Hill. The original company making it went bust, and it remained dormant for a while. But work restarted a while ago.
Old Town
Once past the Mall I cut left and took the back route to Old Town. On the way home I wanted to check out a new mural which is in the process of being painted.
Chernobyl Bar
Believe it or not, that is actually an advert for Chernobyl Cocktail Bar, which is just down that walkway. It depicts the Big Wheel that still stands in Pripyat, the city where Chernobyl Power Station is located. Personally it reminds me of a game called Stalker on the PC, but I digress.
In order to make this mural they actually had to paint over an older one, In fairness though, it had faded quite a lot. It is worth remembering that none of the murals are guaranteed to be here in a year, or five years time. So go out and appreciate them while you can!
New Lidl Roundabout
I shall leave you with this final addition to the Paphos City Scene. A new roundabout has been built next to the Mesogi Road Lidl. I have no idea when all the works will be finished, but once complete this route through Paphos should be a lot more manageable.
The Final Film
Oh I almost forgot. This is the last film I made of my outing. In our next article, we shall return to Choulou to have a look at another of their churches. Stay tuned...
