Paphos Coast Path - Part 3 - Pachyammos to SODAP Beach
Municipal Beach

The beach here gets very popular in August, when it is used by a lot of locals. There is also an interesting jetty behind it, which is great to photograph during stormy weather. That's really only a winter thing though. Don't worry if you are coming here during the Summer!

The hotel here is the Olympic Lagoon Resort. Directly behind it is the area known as The Triangle on the Hotel Strip. There you will find a number of bars and restaurants.
Seaweed Free

Even though the Municipal Beach doesn't have its own name as such, there is still a fair amount of sand here. That may sound like an odd statement, but smaller strips of sand than this have attained both a name and the coveted blue flag status.
Nick's Water Sports

Indeed, the sand extends all the way down to the jetty in front of the Water Sports Centre. For whatever reason though, the area is just named "Municipal".
Wedding Venue

There is another wedding venue by the jetty too. This one looks particularly nice, and has a lovely view of the castle as a background.
