Back To Nature
Soon the scenery changed again, and became more barren.
Old Rings
This was a shame. I featured this area in a film a while ago. There was a nice series of rock circles which looked really cool from above. However, the area was quite overgrown now and it was hard to find it on the ground.
Terra Firma
The walkway becomes a proper path again now. A pretty one at that.
Dimma Bay
I eventually arrived at Dimma Bay. I had been here before to film the nearby wreck. When I set off, I expected to stop at Venus Beach, so hadn't brought much water. Consequently, I had to finish my adventure here, as I now had to walk back to the Harbour. Had I continued along the path I would have reached Baracas Bar and finally Sandy Beach. I will have to save that for another day though.
So, in conclusion, the Coast Path is not quite complete yet, but if you are determined you can follow the course for as long as you like. Just remember that you have to save enough energy for the return leg.

A couple of weeks ago I tried doing the new Coast Walk from the Castle to Venus Beach, but was unable to do so because of the ongoing renovation work. After reports floated down that the work was complete, I decided to give it another go. This time I make it all the way to Chloraka, though I did have to go off piste a couple of times.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
