Paphos Carnival 2023
The Theme?

The first float embodied the supposed theme of the Carnival. Something about King Sun and Queen Moon. To be honest, most of the other floats seemed to do their own thing though, with a general pantomime feeling.

Speaking of suns, the weather was nice, with only a few clouds in the sky.

The aforementioned confetti was soon put to good use.
Carwash Required

I'm glad I don't have to wash that.

The next few shots will show you what the carnival looked like from above. First, note how nice the road down there is. Fairly soon, a lot of Paphos will have roads of that quality. It is a painful process at times, but we are getting there!

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia.
