Continuing my walk, I came across one of the Cementography pieces. There are several of these around Old Town, which together tell a Cypriot Folk Tale. It is a bit grim really. Queen hires a beautiful maid. King can't keep his pecker in his pants. Queen kills the maid. King kills Queen. Personally I think the King gets off far too lightly. If he had behaved himself nobody would have died. Anyway, in this picture the King is introducing himself to the maid...

There used to be a different mural on this wall, but it had faded quite badly. It was replaced by this very bright advert for a local bar.

So, to get our bearings, we have walked from Kennedy Square down to the main road that runs through Old Town. Were we to continue down here we would end up at the Market. But I want to look at another mural first.

Aphrodite's Children

This is probably the most loved mural in Old Town, and justifiably so. It is magnificent!
