Old Paphos in 2021 - Part 2
Mosque Carparlk

This leads us to the Mosque Carpark. You may well see a lot of cats here too.
No Longer Free

This car park used to be free, but some meters have recently appeared. A ticket won't break the bank though. And what is that on the left of the picture?
Paphos Cat Lady Returns

Yes, this is another of the Cat Lady's feeding stations. This explains all the cats, though they were absent when I took this photo.
Turkish Cypriot Graves

I was actually able to access the grounds of the mosque when we visited this time. So I took the opportunity of photographing some of the graves. What surprised me was the absence of the phrase "Ruhuna Fatiha" on any of the gravestones. We see this phrase on a lot of TC graves, and it basically asks the viewer to include the person buried in their prayers.
Neat Rows

I imagine all these tombs have been shuffled together at some point. This is a common practice in graveyards the world over. I wonder how long a grave has to be present in a churchyard before it is deemed movable? You can take that thought further too. Archaeologists think nothing about excavating 1000 year old graves. What about 100 year old graves, or 50? When does it become unacceptable?
