Old Paphos in 2021 - Part 2
Parking Meter

Parking is only a euro for four hours (I think, it might have been two hours). Plus, the machines take 10c and 20c coins, so it is the perfect way to get rid of the annoying change that lurks at the bottom of your wallet or purse.
You used to get a lovely view of 'Ready' from here.
But we just heard some good news. Somebody who lives in Old Town posted on our forum about the wall in question. It looks like the artist and their team will be returning later in the year to repaint it!
Old Paphos Shops

There are a lot of clothing shops in this part of Old Town.
Nice Wide Pavements

Behind us is the square we started at. In front of us, we come to the main road that runs through Old Paphos. We will be turning left there.
Restaurants Galore

Now we are walking against the flow of traffic. There are a number of restaurants along this route. The ones that offer an al fresco experience are still able to stay open.
Pots and Pans

You will also find a number of more traditional shops along the road here. I have always been impressed with this hardware store.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
