Moundiko Nature Trail - Part 2
Back On Track

I finally emerged on a track which I presumed was the right one. From here I turned right to head towards the gorge. Incidentally, I include a map at the end of this article showing the actual route I think they want you to take. So have a look at that before you set off.

Close To The Edge

I've nearly reached the end of the plateau now. The gorge is just ahead.
Nice View!

Now, the view on the other side of the plateau was impressive, but this is something else! I don't know why, but the dense forest on the other side of the gorge makes the scene look extra special.
Not So Wild

Looking at this, it is hard to imagine that Peyia is just over the horizon.
Wilderness

One day I will get down there. It would make an interesting article, but in truth, not many people would read it. Most people seem interested in the beaches and the Archaeological Park. This is fair enough, but they are missing out on so much more, aren't they?

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
