Millo's Tower
Another Angle

I love Millo's style. This is a good summary of it:
Millo is an Italian street artist, born Francesco Camillo Giorgino in 1979. He is known for his predominantly black and white large-scale murals. His artworks are characterized by child-like figures, simple monochromatic lines combined with a dash of color, and elements of architecture.

Suitable Surroundings

The tower itself can be found in Andreas Sylianides Park in Geroskipou. This is one of - I believe - four green areas in the town that are being constructed. If the others are anything like this then full marks to the council! As well as the picnic benches you can see here, there are swings, a seesaw and even a small zip line. There is also an enclosed pitch, for ball games.
Surf's Up!

However, as it is a child's playground, and I visited in the middle of the day, there were quite a few children about. Wandering around a children's playground with a camera isn't the best look in the world, so I took a few snaps of the tower itself before going on my way.
Spring Flowers

Like the rest of Cyprus, the park is currently in bloom. There were lots of poppies growing beneath this wooden construction.

Geroskipou Sculpture Park
As part of Pafo2017, a new Sculpture Park was commissioned in Geroskipou. Inspired by local history, legends and traditions, ten Cypriot and foreign sculptors have created on-site works drawing on the history of the area and, in this way, leaving behind them the traces of the European Capital of Culture. That's what the blurb says anyway. So what are they like?
