Lidl at Neon Mall Opening on the 25th!
Back in January we reported that Lidl were coming to Neon Mall in Paphos. I happened to be there yesterday and couldn't help but notice that their name was now showing on the list of Stores on the front of the Mall. So naturally I had a look around...
The New Logo

For ages Paphos Mall had been closed. A couple of years ago, it re-opened, with two stores - Super Home Centre and Kiabi. Since then, a few more stores have appeared, and in January, the first sign that Lidl was going to be here appeared. Now though, they are obviously getting serious.
Looking Inside

It is obviously not yet open, but something is happening inside. Let's see if we can get a better look.
Mall Interior

Presumably the entrance will be here. Having said that, I guess it could just as easily be on the outer wall.
Inside

Some progress has been made on the inside of the shop.
The Tills

You can also see where the checkout lanes will be. So, they are obviously a little while away from opening, but they are definitely on their way.
In fact, it was announced in the press that Lidl would be opening here on Thursday, July 25, 2024!
The question now though, is whether Neon Mall is ready for Lidl. Given how popular the other Lidls are, they are going to generate a lot of traffic. Will the new Geroskipou Bypass be able to cope with it? Time will no doubt tell.
