Ruins No Longer

The houses may well have fallen into ruin, but some of them have been repaired. The ones that are in use have quite big fences.

Now this was interesting. These fountains are common in villages around Cyprus, both abandoned and inhabited. It was built in 1954, and is right in the middle of the newer section.

Semi-Overgrown Gardens

Well I found it interesting anyway. I was in a bit of a dilemma now. Normally in abandoned villages, I poke my nose through the ruins looking for interesting things to photograph.

Here though, I can't be sure what is abandoned and what is in use. Also, some of the properties might be used only in summer. I can't tell, so I err on the side of caution.
