Kato Paphos Part 7 - The Coast Path
The sea plays a big role in the charm of Kato Paphos. In this series we have already seen the main Sea Front, but in this article I thought it was time to take a look at the Coast Path that runs all the way from Geroskipou to the Castle. We haven't got time to cover it all, so we shall head up to the SODAP beach and have a look at that section.
Towards Geroskipou

We begin our walk near where we finished Part 4. The Almyra is on our right, and the Keg and Barrel is on the left.

Nice Ponchoes

Our daughter liked the look of these as we walked past. They made a change to the usual fayre on offer.
Pizza Paradise

This place has had a number of positive comments on our Paphos Chat Facebook Group. It scores highly on Tripadvisor too.
Shop Front

There are a mix of kiosks and restaurants on the left hand side of the road. We stuck to the right though, as we could get a better look at the hotels then, and there was more shade from the low winter sun. We weren't worried about the heat, rather the lighting conditions for our pictures.
Seaside Alley

There are a number of paths leading down to the seafront as you may your way past the hotels. This is handy if you fancy a particular spot and don't want to have to walk to far.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
