Geroskipou Shrine Caves Revisited
At The Other End
We found our final interesting tidbit at the other end of the Neapolis Building Site. I had parked the car in order to photograph the closed road. On my way back, I couldn't help but notice this villa. It looked like it was abandoned, but had never been lived in. So perhaps the developer had gone bankrupt?

As the site was clearly abandoned, I decided to have a little wander.
Sorry State
Inside, the place had suffered a bit of vandalism. There was no evidence that anybody had actually lived here though.
Nice Pool
In the garden, unsurprisingly, there was a nice pool. Well, it would have been nice if it was plumbed in and full of water.
Villa View
It also looks like there are drain pipes on the villa, but I am at a loss to see how the left-hand one could have been very effective. I also doubt that there is anywhere for the water to go once it comes out of the pipe.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
