Now that we had found our Liesegang rings, we decided to continue to the sea. There are some spectacular rock formations in the cliffs.

Looking towards the sea, we saw something we remembered from our last visit.

What Causes This?

We've seen this formation a few times in Cyrus. You can see them on the road from Paphos to Episkopi (North of Paphos) as well.

More Erosion

One day we will approach that from below, by walking up the valley. Not today though.

Erosion

A few weeks ago, I read reports that some ancient human remains had turned up in a remote church near Kathikas. I presume the remains were placed by a tomb robber, but to be honest, the key phrase that stuck in my head was "remote church". After several attempts, the route to the location was found, and we paid it a visit.
