Path quality takes a turn for the worse again now, though it is seasonal. In the summer I presume this is a wide, dusty track.

It is actually inset a bit from the shoreline, and at this point there is another sandy area below, with a strange blue frame in it.

It is actually an Information Sign telling you about the local seal populations. It has seen better days though, and could do with a clean. It's a rather remote area here, so I was surprised to see it.

The next stretch of the path takes us past a construction site. More villas are on the way.

In the distance you can make out Yeronisos Island. This is just off the coast of Agios Georgios Harbour. If you are exploring the Akamas it is a handy landmark to get to know. If you can see it you know you aren't too far away from civilisation.

There are plans to create a Coast Path from Coral Bay all the way to Sea Caves and Agios Georgios Harbour. Recently I walked along the existing route, to see how much work was required to complete the project. In the first part we cover up to the Oniro Restaurant and the famous wreck.
