One More Boulder

I think this part of the world reminds me a bit of Dartmoor, for some reason. Up there is a big rock that looks like a medieval helmet. I did some 360s of it a while ago. I may have even written a blog. There are over 300 of them now, so it is difficult to keep track...

Abandoned Village This Way

Anyway, way up there, to the right of those matchbox houses you can see at the top of the photo, is a little abandoned village. I wanted to drive there. We could either go via Droushia, or via Androlikou. Either way I needed petrol first, so we were going to have to pop into Polis to get some fuel.

But something was calling me, as we headed back to the Gravity Road. To our left we could see a track stretching out into the countryside, waiting to be explored. It promised green fields, trees, and stuff. I like going out and finding stuff, so it was a big temptation. However, we did need our fuel.

Rinky Pink Panther

So we nipped down to Polis to get some petrol. I could have included a shot of the garage, but this is much cooler.

It wasn't just the panther that was pink. Alex snapped these flowers nearby as well. I asked her whether she fancied the abandoned village, or the "Journey Into Mystery" as the track was now being hyped as. She was happy either way, so it was down to me...
