Santa Barbara
All our roadtrips will give you a taste of Cyprus. If you are hiring a car you should definitely give them a look. They will take you to places you wouldn't otherwise find. I don't mean Santa Barbara Beach here. That is on the main coast road, and difficult to miss if you are in the area.

But what about this? It's an old, home-made Armoured Car, left over from the war. I bet you it doesn't feature in any other tour guide!
Picnic Time
If you fancy having your own barbecue rather than eating at one of the many lovely taverns, then there is a great picnic site at the end of the roadtrip. It is just before Limni Pier.
The Red Pool
You have the option at the end of the fourth road trip to return to Paphos via Kinousa and Lysos. If you take this route you will be able to see the Red Pool and some amazing countryside. However, you shouldn't tackle this if the light is fading, as there will be no streetlights to help you, and you won't be able to appreciate any view. This is all explained in the guide.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
