St George Monument
I don't think I will ever understand what this is supposed to represent, but it is fun flying the drone around it. St George's Beach is to the right and the new Alyki Beach in the distance.
Another Mystery Design
Mind you, I could say the same about the motorway roundabout in Paphos. Is that a keyhole? It gets a lot of criticism, but I quite like it, especially when it is illuminated at night. And it is much, much nicer than the wasteland that used to be there.
Paphos Harbour
This was a final view of the seating at Paphos Castle. By all accounts both Carmen and Zorba The Greek had been a resounding success this year.
Cynthiana Beach Hotel
This is the other main resort on the Kissonerga Coast Path. You can even see the bridge I mentioned to the rear centre-right of the picture.
Spic n Span
And this is the newly-renovated Eleni Holiday Village in Chloraka. It is to the right of St George Hotel, and there was some concern about it earlier in the year, but they look like they have got it all sorted out now. It looks a lot nicer than in the satelliate shot taken mid-renovation. The pool is now crystal clear in comparison to the muddy green shown on google maps.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
