Cyprus in Pictures - February 2024
St George's Beach

Here is another of Paphos' sandy beaches. We actually have quite a few of them, despite what some people keep on insisting on Social Media.
Latsi Harbour

I was able to snap this nice reflection shot when I visited Latsi Harbour to fly the drone.
West Coast Runners

And I snapped part of the West Coast Runners when I was out and about in Paphos Sea Front.
Thalassa Renovations

I will be doing a new report on the Coral Bay Strip renovations in a week or two. I shall also visit the Thalassa Hotel as they are in the process of renovating that as well. Watch this space.
Parting Shot

I shall leave you with a final shot of the Little Fisherman at the Sea Front. If you look carefully you can also see some swimmers. The artist Yiota Ioannidou created the statue, despite what Google Maps claims! I put in a change notice so hopefully that will be updated soon. Anyway, Yiota has got a new piece coming soon to Paphos, so look out for more information on that. Also, March is Carnival Month in Cyprus, so get ready to party!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
