Love Is In The Air

For Valentine's Day this seemed appropriate.

Secret Chapel

Now this picture caused a stir. It shows a tiny little chapel on a backstreet of Paphos. There were a lot of unnecessarily rude comments about it, and somebody pointed out that from the other side the chapel looks much nicer. And it does, too. However, if you go looking for the chapel with only that view in your head, you could easily miss it. This is the view from the road, and that is why I posted it. I am on a campaign to stamp out unnecessary rudeness on my pages and forums, so if you feel like making sarky comments about somebody else's labour of love, then do it elsewhere.
Turtle Island

In contrast, this picture of Turtle Island near Aphrodite's Secret Beach proved very popular indeed. And rightly so. It is an amazing view.
St Nicholas Chapel

A shot of St Nicholas Chapel is always going to be popular too.
Polis - latsi Beach Path

Polis got some more love with this picture of the lovely beach path between Latsi and Polis Campsite. Now, there appear to be changes afoot happening at the Campsite. Talk of closures and takeovers filled the social media airwaves, though I have yet to find out what the true state of affairs is with regards to the campsite, beach and cafe.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
