Cyprus in Pictures - November 2023
Diarizos Monastery

Another of the Diarizos Valley's many gifts is this abandoned monastery, with a functioning church at its centre. You can find the turning for it just before the Extreme View Cafe. It is clearly signposted, though the road to it is a bit bumpy.
I still haven't got around to writing the article on this, as it looks like they are renovating the interior. I will make sure I publish it within the next week or two though.
October 28 Square

The Square next to the Town Hall is a picture. This shot focuses on the October 28 Monument itself.
Paphos Harbour

When we do our review of how 2023 has gone, I imagine there will be a lot said about the Harbour area. It has been transformed over the past year.
Catermarans

Sailing is definitely a thing in Cyprus. I will occasionally see races underway off the South Coast in particular. In this shot you can see three catarmarans waiting for some adventure.
Pachyammos Beach

This beach definitely did NOT look like this when I visited last week for my Storm film!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
