Cyprus In Pictures - June 2023
Konnos Bay

This is one of Ayia Napa's more remote beaches.

Paphos Seafront On Foot

This was the most popular picture we posted in June. In actual fact it is a still taken from one of my walking films of Paphos Sea Front. I was going to use it as a thumbnail but thought it would be better served as a Kalimera picture instead.
Corallia Beach View

In this view we can see the small harbour next to Corallia Beach, as well as the Coral Beach Hotel.
Paphos Castle

A visitor to the Harbour towards the end of the month would be hard-pressed not to notice the seating that has been erected in front of it. This is there for a number of night-time events held throughout the summer. Indeed, there was a performance from the Paphos School of Music last week. It makes a great Summer Evening Venue.
Cape Greco

Our final shot of June was another taken from our Holiday snaps. It shows a small church and a cave in Cape Greco. It is one of the locations on our Fifth Cyprus Roadtrip, and if you are visiting Ayia Napa or Protaras with a car, it is well worth getting.
See you next month!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
