Coral Bay Beach Walk
Secret Stairway

At the far end of Coral Bay Beach is a stairway that leads up to Thalassa Hotel. If you are exploring the area on foot it is well worth following.

Parting Shot

We shall climb the staircase, but not before taking a final look at Coral Bay Beach itself.

The last time I wrote an article about this area there were no sunbeds here. It was unkempt and overgrown. They did a terrific job of refurbishing the place, and it was lovely to see it get reborn.
Stairway To Heaven

But let us continue up the stairs...
To Be Continued...

At the top of the staircase you will find the entrance to Thalassa Hotel. There is a small carpark here too, beyond which there is a path. You can just make out a brown sign on the right of the picture. In our next article we will follow that path, not to the museum the sign points to, but to another path which leads down to Corallia Beach.
Until then, enjoy the sun, but make sure you have plenty of suncream on, even if it is cloudy.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
