Chloraka Coast Path - Part 1
Old Pill Box

I saw a couple of abandoned military lookout posts along the walk. I tend to call all such structures pill boxes. Often I get corrected, especially if a roof is missing, but honestly, I am not that bothered. I grew up on Ash Ranges, near Aldershot, and there were loads of WW2 pill boxes there, and on the canal, so they are fairly mundane structures to me. Years ago I was surprised to find that there was a website* actually dedicated to logging their location, as well as the assortment of tank traps and what-have-you that are scattered around the Southern coast of England. Given that the Pill Boxes (and observation posts) all seem to be numbered in Cyprus, I imagine there is a similar thing here.
* And if you think that's bad, take a look here.

Scooters For Hire

There was another place to take or leave scooters here. I am still baffled how there use can comply with the legal - and much publicised - requirements now present in Cyprus for driving one. You are supposed to were a high-viz jacket and a crash helmet. Surely, anybody who had that would also have their own scooter?
Mysterious

In our final drone picture we can just about see something mysterious in the centre of the picture. Is that a tiny little cove?
Cove Junction

Let's go and investigate. Spoiler alert, if you do turn left to see the little cove (and you jolly well should) then to keep going along the Coast Path you should come back after you have seen it to this point and keep on straight. Otherwise you will walk through a Building Site.
I will show you all this over the remaining pages, but so many people only read half an article before commenting that I thought I would mention it here too.
Dingley Dell

Should you venture down this path, do bear in mind that the land on the right belongs to private villas, so respect their privacy.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
