Going into the ruins themselves, it soon became apparent that the location was still of religious significance.

Opening up the white cabinet revealed several icons of St George slaying the dragon, along with a portrait of Jesus Christ.

It must have been quite an earthquake, as those walls are pretty thick.

Fading Mural

On one wall you can make it the remains of an old mural. I think it was St George on horseback.
