Alexander The Great Hotel
Topsoil?

To me that looks like topsoil that is waiting to be used in some outdoor landscaping. I could be wrong though. I certainly wouldn't complain if the soil in my back garden looked like that!

Getting Nosey

I have seen a fair number of rumours posted online about the renovation. Let's put an end to them. The hotel has not been sold, and it is not being converted to an Adult Only place. In fairness to the gossipers, they probably got that last nugget from the signs promoting the Adult Only Amavi. To an idle observer it could look like they were converting the Alexander to an extension of the Amavi. To reiterate, this is not the case. The Alexander will be the same hotel it has always been. It will just be swankier.
Over The Fence

The last time I look in that direction it was covered in green sheets.

So that's the view from over the fence.

Sodap Beach Update
There was recently a bit of a kerfuffle in the press about the new cafe that is being built at the SODAP beach in Paphos.
