The Akamas Visitor Centre in Kathikas
Bird Feeder
This was nice. If you look to the left of the three chicks, you will see a small bowl. It contains some (fake) worms. Kids can use the red handle to tilt the mother bird to the bowl, pick up the worm, and drop it in the open mouths.
More Information
Finally you are presented with a series of maps and information on all the villages of the Akamas.
As well as Kathikas, they also covered Arodes, Ineia, Droushia and Neo Chorio.
Akamas Map
Wrapping the show up they have a handy map showing the entire Akamas. It is well worth studying. Once you are finished make sure you pick up the leaflets on the way out, and be sure to sign the Visitor's Book.
Another Handy Map
If you fancy a visit to Kathikas and the Akamas Visitor Centre, this map will show you where it is. You can either take the road from Peyia or the B7 from Paphos (turning onto the E711 at Stroumpi). If you want to be different, you can even take the F704 from Akoursos. In all cases, you will be able to park behind the Visitor Centre in the communal parking area. It is well worth a visit, and you should also take some time to explore the rest of Kathikas too. You won't be disappointed.
