Agios Savvas Tis Karonos
Arched Entrance
This is my favourite bit of the monastery ruins. I like the arches. Well-built ones too. One of them appears to have been half filled in at some point in the past.
Old Drinking Fountain
Was this part of the monastery, or part of the church?
500 Year Old Shelving Units
They knew how to make shelving units in those days...
Nice Fireplace
This fireplace, as well as looking rather grand, highlights a trait common to most of the fire places in the monastery. They all seemed to have some sort of recess or tunnel in them. Perhaps that's why the monastery was destroyed by fire. Excessive ventilation?
To The Church
This appears to be the main entrance into the monastery grounds.
