2018 In Pictures
Souskiou
Back to the Diarizos Valley now, and a tour around Souskiou. We had visited this once, many years ago, while geocaching, but hadn't appreciated just how big a village it was. In the summer time it looks deceptively small, as the brown countryside blends with the discoloured walls. But in Spring, you can see it in all its glory. And look at some cute pigs.
Paphos Street Art
In May, we looked once again at some of the Street Art Paphos has to offer.
The Old Town
We also took another look around Old Town, now that the renovations have been completed (ish). We paid special attention this time, to accessibility for wheel chair users, because somebody had asked about this on the forum. At this point we also decided to start work on a big project; creating a virtual tour of Old Pafos. More on that later...
Kallepia Caving
Emboldened by the success of the Paphos Caving blog, we visited another church near Kallepia, because we had reliably been informed that there was an interesting cave there too...
The Garden of Memories
The Garden of Memories Appeal run by St Michael's Hospice, had been Paphos Life's Cause of 2017. We helped promote the charity and it was inspiring to see the wasteland get transformed into this beautiful vision. It had its opening day in the end of May, and we were there to capture it. Geoff, you and your team did one heck of a job.
