Old Paramali - Aphrodite meets Call of Duty
So Let's Explore
Wandering around the ruins was a bit puzzling. For a start, why did this abandoned village have such a decent road running through it? We are used to rough tracks interspersed with occasional cobbles. This village virtually has a dual carriageway running through. And there were lots of tracks through the undergrowth. Some of them could be goats, but I think there must be something else going on here too.
Familiar Interiors
Putting mysteries aside, a quick inspection of the buildings revealed the familiar nooks and crannies we have come to expect in these places.
Not-so-beautiful Frame
Ruins through ruins.
Number 2
For some reason this building had a number 2 painted on it.
A Familiar Sight
Now this was interesting. Not the rocks, which I (wrongly) assumed had been put there to hold down a cloth. On the cloth a farmer would have laid out fruit or whathaveyou, to dry out. No, what was puzzling was all the black specks on the roof. From a distance it looked a bit like goat poo, but I don't think a goat would bother making that journey, as there is nothing to eat up there.
