The Paphos To Chloraka Walkway

Picturesque Route
The route here had a nice rustic feel to it.
New Build
Soon though I was back on more familiar ground. Well, sort of. The last time I was in this location the villas to my right hadn't been built. The path wasn't as substantial as this either.
Hotel Walk
The walkway goes behind the King Evelthon Hotel.
Akti Beach
After the Evelthon I found myself within Akti Beach. I have to say the walkway around here was lovely. It was really well maintained and the whole area was beautiful.
Tiny Beach
I mean , look at that. It is a little slice of paradise. The boardwalk in the centre led down to a tiny beach which looked like it would be a great spot for some snorkelling.

A couple of weeks ago I tried doing the new Coast Walk from the Castle to Venus Beach, but was unable to do so because of the ongoing renovation work. After reports floated down that the work was complete, I decided to give it another go. This time I make it all the way to Chloraka, though I did have to go off piste a couple of times.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
