On the road past October 28 Square and Kennedy Square there were eggs and candles attached to the lamp posts. I haven't driven down here at night but it would be interesting to see if they were illuminated.

The Easter Bunny features heavily in Paphos' central square.

While the Easter Bunny may not seem particularly spiritual, it does provide entertainment for the kids. Cyprus is in fact a very religious country, and the approaching Easter Weekend is their main holiday.

The villages are not to be outdown, and have their own displays. I like this one in Tremithousa.

I shall leave you with this display from Polemi. You may have seen it if you came up for the tulip festival. I don't make films or articles on the Mass itself, as a sign of respect to the faithful. To all Cypriots and Orthodox Christians reading this though, Happy Easter for Sunday. May your get-togethers happen on a nice sunny day.
