Latsi Beach and Harbour
All Mod Cons

I have no idea how much a berth here costs, but you get electricity. I wonder if that is a wifi transmitter too?

Harbour End

The rocky windbreak turned into a wall. If Latsi Harbour Authorities are open to suggestions for improvement, they could commission a nice mural to be painted along here, like the one in Agios Georgios.
Mystery Lady

Mind you, the wall itself (well, the upper part at least) looks pretty stylish on its own. And there is another attraction here too. Step forward Regina, Queen of Cyprus.
Queen Regina

Caterina Cornaro (1454–1510) came from one of the most important Venetian families of her time and became the last queen of Cyprus.
This statue was erected in 2020, and is another fine example of the creative skills of Yiota Ioannidou. You are probably familiar with this lady's work already. The Boy With The Fish at Paphos Sea Front, and The Girl and the (vanishing) Sparrows at Old Town, are other examples of her work.
Close Up

It is certainly a very elegant statue.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
