Ezousa Estuary
Road Out!
This road also had issues. You can see some of the dumped rubbish lying around, but also a rather large hole.
Hidden Treasure
Now this got me all excited. The swelled waters of the Ezousa had scoped whole chunks of the road, revealing rubbish from decades gone by which had been dumped. Years ago, when we lived in the UK, I used to collect old Victorian Bottles. Codds mainly, if you are that interested. Anyway, I used to go digging for them in old abandoned rubbish dumps. This site brought the memories flooding back. It looked like the bottom of a stoneware ginger beer bottle.
And There's More
Another bottle, on the other side of the road. How old were they though?
Old Spice
Hmm, my potential ginger beer bottle turned out to be a more modern Old Spice bottle. The brown bottle had a screw-top lid as well, so that was definitely not 100 years old either.
From Here, We Walk
Boots highly recommended. This is muddy!

Happy Easter
We were out doing our Annual Easter Egg Hunt this morning. It took us down through the Esouza Valley, and finally to the sea. I won't be doing a blog article on the final part of this journey, as it isn't in the same league as the two sections I have previously blogged about. However, we did stumble across this shrine. At first glance, I took it as a typical shrine you see fairly frequently in Cyprus. However, a second glance revealed it to be rather unusual.Kannaviou Countryside
You could be forgiven for thinking that the Ezousa Valley runs from the sea to Episkopi Village. But it continues through Letymbou all the way up to Kannaviou. And guess what? It's just as lovely up there.Good Pages To Visit
