Birthday Cats
Poser
Surrogate Mother
I mentioned this earlier, how the boys would try and suckle Minx's neck. This is what it looked like. Apparently this is very common amongst kittens who have lost the maternal bond too soon. They don't do it any more though. Having said that, I have seen Patch try the same thing on Mark's neck occasionally.
Meet The Bean
Now this is interesting. Here you see the kittens all sat on top of Bean's hutch. Bean is a rabbit, in case you cannot tell. When they were small, they used to come and say hello to her in her run. They could fit through the gaps in the metal fence. So to them, Bean has always been like a big sister. Even now, when they are probably all bigger than she is, they consider her to be part of their family. When we let Bean out to run around the lawn, they will play with her. At first I was afraid they were going to pounce on her. But they go through all the motions only to stop at the last minute. And if they get too close, Bean turns round and boxes them. So she's definitely the boss! Once she escaped from her hutch, and we saw them all out on the road with her. They all came back too, which was nice.
Sleeping Beauty
Plotting
Anyway, Alex's allergy doesn't seem as bad as it was years ago, there has been the occasional sneeze, and if they are allowed in the house too much, my eyes start itching as well. But all in all, it's going great.

A chance diversion from a scenic route home brought us to write this blog. This is what we love so much about Cyprus. You only need to take a left instead of a right, see where you end up, and take the time to have a look around. Adventure and wonder are just around the corner. And kittens.Kitten Capers
Last week we told you how we found four orphan kittens. Well that was a start of a very busy few days for us. This is how the kittens have fared.Good Pages To Visit
