Heading Back To Nata
This Summer it is very easy to drive back in a normal car along the river bed towards Nata (10 km) as there was no rain for a long time. Near the entrance the track starts and gets better and better like a proper road. It is the path next to the river and not the one to the farm though.
After about 5 km you will find the asphalted road on the right hand side of the river leading to back to Nata.
The Way Back
You drive back through the village until you find the main Panagia to Paphos road, which leads you within 10 minutes to the highway, but not before you have a look down the Ezousa Valley where Episkopi lies.
Back To Paphos
This is the panoramic view you will have if you stop the car on the way to Paphos and cross the road. On the horizon one can see the huge development of Minthis Golf and I can even spot my house there...

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
