I wonder what made those holes in the rock. I imagine people were mining for clay or something similar at some point in the past. You can see at the top of the picture just how close the new complex is to the cliffs.

Anyway, as we have reached Cap St George, it is time to turn round and retrace our steps. I want to see that balanced rock up close.

Not This Way

On the way back, I thought I could go down here to get to the rock.

Unfortunately, if you try that, you soon find yourself perched atop a small cliff. So retrace your steps and go back to the car park.

So instead I have returned to the carpark next to the villas. If you recall there is a path from there to the beach.

This Way

Be careful as you make your way down. It is fairly easy going but there are quite a few loose rocks about.
