The Church of Saints Kerykos and Ioulitta
To The Alter and East Apsis
The frescoes appear to have been decorated immediately after construction of the church in the 12th century.
Most of them unfortunately are destroyed or partly overlaid by paintings of a later period around 1500 AD.
Central Dome
Behind The Curtain
This is the oldest part of the church. Of the original old frescoes which survived is the head of an Apostle in the scene of Communion of the Apostles, showing the young Apostle Paul with black hair and beard.
