It's August, and Cyprus is on Holiday. Normally empty beaches in hidden coves have sprung to life, as the local Cypriot population come out to enjoy the summer sun. I thought it would be fun to capture the mood so I took the drone and my camera out to record the experience.

Steni is a charming little village which lies between Lysos and Polis on the northern side of Paphos. As well as an historic monastery it also has a lovely Museum of Village Life which is well worth visiting. While you are there, be sure to admire the new bridge that is being constructed nearby. Kefalos Beach Village can be found just west of Paphos Harbour, between Lighthouse Beach and Tombs of the Kings. It is a 4 star complex offering a slightly different living environment to the traditional hotel. Last week they were kind enough to give us the grand tour.
