Agios Georgios Inauguration

Wednesday was a special day at Agios Georgios Harbour. The church received a blessing from the Arch Bishop as it was inaugurated to mark the end of the renovation work that had been carried out in the area. We were there to record the event for posterity.

Ochi Day is an important event in the Greek and Cypriot Calendar. Occuring on 28th October, it marks the date that Greece said a resounding NO to Italy's demand to pass through its territory.
