Now, back to the water feature. This is an important lesson, so pay attention. When you are out exploring, on no account should you assume the water features contain drinkable water. And the same goes for babbling brooks. You never know what is further upstream. However, in the case of this reservoir, you know exactly what is wrong. There is a dead goat floating in the tank.

Now, a dead goat would prevent you or I from going anywhere near this water. It doesn't seem to deter the frogs though.

The frog was actually very well camouflaged. When Alex took this picture (she took the next few) she had no idea there was a frog on the carcass. She only saw it when she was examining her pictures later.

I initially thought that this was the same frog, slinking off in disgrace. But it appears to be a completely different colour to the previous frog. Do frogs blush?

And speaking of blushing, just look at this dragonfly! What on Earth has he been up to go that colour? Seriously, we make a point never to artificially tint our pictures. This beauty really was this red.
