The Polis Coast
Latsi Harbour View

In the summertime there will be lots of sunbeds here.

Polis Coast Path

We shall end with a view of the Coast Path. It runs from Latsi up to Polis Campsite Beach. One day soon I will have a walk along its length, as it is very pretty.
If you are visiting Cyprus, make sure you visit the North Coast of Paphos. You will not be disappointed, as the area is lovely. For more information, check out our Road Trips eBooks, the majority of which cover the area.
Now A Major Film
I had intended flying the drone on my visit, but took these pictures instead because I left the drone at home. I also made a film, which you can see here.
Here's One I Made Earlier
Also, here is drone footage of Polis Municipal Beach which I recorded last year.
Aphrodite's Secret Coastline

Polis Beaches Part 1
We've already had a look at how the beaches and restaurants of Paphos and Ayia Napa are coping with the new norms of social distancing. It is time to turn our attention to the Polis coast, and take a look at what the situation is there. In Part 1 we go from Aphrodite's Baths to Polis.
Polis Beaches Part 2
In this report we originally planned on showing you the beaches from Kato Pyrgos to Polis. However, there were so many that we have had to split it in two, so join us as we travel from Kato Pyrgos to the outskirts of Pomos. In our next blog we will continue the journey to Polis.
Polis Beaches Part 3
In the final part of our look at the beaches along the north coast of Paphos, we travel from Pomos to Polis, finishing up with a slap-up meal at our favourite kebab joint. If you want quieter beaches in beautiful surroundings, then this area will not disappoint. We visited these beaches more times than was strictly necessary to make this blog, which shows that we have saved what we consider to be some of the best Paphos beaches to last.
Aphrodite's Secret Beach Area
If you visit Aphrodite's Baths near Latsi, you can be forgiven for initially being a little bit underwhelmed by the experience. But fear not! The area of countryside you are in is actually astonishingly beautiful, so once you have gazed somewhat disappointedly at the baths, be sure to take in the surrounding area, and I guarantee you won't feel cheated. And don't neglect the coastline! It is a little known fact that before Aphrodite took her bath, she liked nothing more than having a splosh in the sea at her secret beach, followed by a bite to eat in the tavern. eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
