Statos-Agios Fotios Christmas Village

Published 23rd of November, 2025

The Christmas Season has started! Special Seasonal Villages have sprung up giving visitors a winter treat. The nearest one to Paphos is at Statos-Agios Fotios. So if you are young or young-at-heart then head there for some festive fun.

The holiday villages are open from now until January 6th. I drove up to Statos-Agios Fotios as it is only half an hour away from Polemi. You will find at near Pano Panagia, at the edge of Paphos Forest. I arrived just after sunset, so I would be able to get some nice twilight pictures. The drive up was fantastic, as the countryside looks amazing when bathed in late-afternoon setting sunlight.

If you are arriving at the village from the direction of Nata, then drive past the Square and you will find a big parking area. If you are coming from Panagia you will find parking before the village.

As well as the village itself, there are also a lot of activities that will be occurring here between now and January. You can read more about them on the dedicated website. I managed to find a link to take you directly to an English translation. It is a 48 page PDF file, so has plenty of information! The following is the most important bit though:

The operating period of the Christmas Village is from

November 22, 2025 to January 6, 2026 as follows:

Opening hours: 11.00am – 7pm

(except for 12/25/2025 & 1/1/2026,

for which hours will be determined at a later stage)

The first thing you may hear is the sound of the festive train that is driven around Statos-Agios Fotios. It blares out a mix of Christmas hits and each ride lasts a few minutes.

We will have some more drone shots at the end of the article. Now though, I want to have a look around.

This was where you get on and off the festive train.

I had seen the basic square layout of the village, so I decided to start at one corner and make my way around.
