To the immediate right of Fig Tree Bay is another sandy beach. And this pattern basically repeats along the coast. Not all of the beaches are ideal for swimming though. Some may be man-made, and you will find rocky outcrops which make having a swim a bit more of a challenge. But most will be perfect for taking a cooling dip.

From Protaras you can take the coast road to Ayia Napa. Along the way you will drive past Konnos Beach. This is particularly famous.

During our visit there was a bit of a brouhaha (as opposed to a kerfuffle) when it was announced that Mike's Watersports at Konnos Beach was to remain closed for the first time in 43 years.

However, the good news is that Mike's Watersports is now officially open again. This was announced on their Facebook Page on July 10th.

Normally when we do postcards of our annual trips, we include lots of pictures from the fabulous Ayia Napa Sculpture Park. This year though I am going to concentrate on other things. This magnificent beast can be found at Ayia Napa Harbour.
