Polis Christmas Village
Take A Break

Naturally enough, if you spend a lot of time wandering amonst the stalls, you may want to sit down for a drink. There are plenty of places to do that, and I cannot thing of a nicer environment in which to enjoy a spot of Christmas Cheer.

Old Friend

Speaking of stalls, let us take a look at what they have to offer. The first stall I noticed featured some very familiar looking pumpkin creations. Indeed, they are all the work of Evi Kokkinou from Pumpkin House. Her shop in Paphos Old Town is a real treasure trove and well worth a visit.
Wine Tasting

Next up you had the opportunity to try some wine. Incidentally, I do like the little Swiss cabins that they had as stalls. They really helped set the scene. I remember a similar village in Paphos Centre a few years ago, but for some reason they only announced that you could hire them a few days before the event. So most of them were empty. I can't remember the exact details but that village looked a bit sorry for itself. This one in Polis though, is absolutely lovely.
Bakers

Not sure what this stall was selling, but it looked nice.
More Food

You will get plenty of opportunities for nosebag here.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
