Old Town 2022 Update

Paphos is changing! Don't take our word for it though. Take a walk with us around Old Town, and see what's going on. In the first part we concentrate on the area around the Indoor Market, which is undergoing something of a face lift.

The other day I was out taking photographs for the next part of my local around Old Town in 2022. Along the way I called into Pumpkin House, to see how Evi was getting along. Film: Paphos Old Town Drive

The Old Town is a bit chaotic at the moment, because road works elsewhere are sending a lot more traffic through it. However, I managed to find a quiet time to drive through it in this film, so you can see how it looks after the heat of Summer.
Of course, the Old Town really comes alive at night, and if you are looking for a nice place for an evening meal or drink, then you should definitely point your compass in this direction.
Film: Old Town and Moutallos Cliffs

A ridge of cliffs separate Kato Paphos from the rest of the city. They run through Old Town and Moutallos and provide visitors with some awesome vantage points to take in the scenery. In this film we get a birds-eye view of the landscape, thanks to our trusty drone.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
