A Walk Around Paphos Harbour
Something Fishy

To the right of the Tour Jetty you will find the Pelican Restaurant. This is famous both for its fish and for the friendly bird that lives here...

The Latest Kokos

And here he is. There has been a Pelican here since 1968. The first one was killed by a bus in 1972, but a replacement was soon found. The last incarnation of Kokos died in 2021, but not before scandal. In 2020 a nude model posed for pictures with him. It's tough at the top!
Oo! La! La!

After the Pelican you will find Steve's Restaurant, hosted by the amiable Henry. Also known as the Oo! La! La! man, he is a lovely bloke, and even has his own Motivational Channel on Youtube. Check it out!
Idyllic Scene

The Harbour definitely looks a lot nicer than it did last year.
New Beginnings

And the renovations aren't yet completely over. The building behind the monstrous carbunkles is being converted to an Ocean Basket, and the metallic monstrosities themselves are being gentrified and will be transformed to a seating area to the restaurant behind it.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
