Paphos Christmas Lights 2922
Dream Catchers

We are heading towards Ibrahim's Khan now. You can just about make out the dream catchers on the left. On the right, not visible here, there is the new kid's playground with the lovely statue.

Ibrahim's Khan

There will be a special Christmas Festival here on Saturday 17th December, starting at 12:30PM. They are normally very well attended.
Good Effort

I like to see a business making an effort.
Old Paphos At Night

I took these pictures on Sunday Evening, quite late. I cannot begin to tell you how lovely Old Paphos now looks at night. On Friday and Saturday nights in particular, the place is buzzing. And it is filled with all types of people, from families out for an evening stroll or meal, to young clubbers looking for a trendy bar. Everybody intermingles and gets along.
From Kennedy Square

This is the view from Kennedy Square down towards the Old Town Market. I think its proper name is Arch Bishop Makarious III Avenue. There aren't many Christmas decorations visible compared to previous years, but the trees look nice.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
