Somebody on our Paphos Chat group posted that they heard that the extension was due to open in October. I think it is safe to say that that is not going to happen.

Rather than speculate, I thought I would do some research and see if I can find more information online. First of all, I tracked down their website. That had a button for EVENTS. I clicked that and it wished me Happy Easter, so it isn't a very active site. Nevertheless, they had a CONTACT page, so I sent them a query asking for more information on the completion date and what shops we could expect. I also found their Facebook Page which is a lot more active. I messaged them the same query. If I get any reply I will post an update.

I am very intrigued as to what the final building will look like. It certainly won't be described as boring. Time will tell.

My only concern is about access. Already it can get very busy here. With more shops and businesses it will be worse still. As I said earlier, a roundabout is plannedfor the area near MacDonalds, but that won't affect the jams on the dual carriageway. To the right of the Mall there is a small, narrow gorge, which makes an extra access road in that direction problematic. If you recall they built a bridge for the Geroskipou Bypass. I don't know what the solution is, but I do hope they find one.

I thought I would end with a picture of the Stadium where Pafos FC play. Well, they don't play their Champions League games here. They go to the swanky new stadium in Limassol for that.
