There has been a lot of speculation as to what is happening at the site of the old Sea You Beach Bar in Potima Bay. Well the bulldozers have now left, and a few buildings have sprung up, so we thought an update was needed...

See? We weren't lying. The bulldozers have gone and a few buildings have popped up. No doubt you want to know more though...

The most prominent building is the shower facility.

The area is obviously not yet complete though. There is more work to be done.

The new buildings seem to have a somewhat temporary quality to them at the moment.

A few days ago I flew the drone around Potima Bay and took some films and pictures for our website. Literally a few minutes after I published the film, Sea You Beach Bar announced they were closing. Since then there has been talk of bulldozers, so this morning I returned to the scene to assess the situation first-hand.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
